Dr. Scarborough received his MD degree in 1993 from University of New Mexico School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his General Surgery training and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After his training in Surgery, Dr. Scarborough joined New Mexico Surgical Associates in Albuquerque, NM where he performed the first Laparoscopic Kidney Donation in New Mexico. Dr. Scarborough became an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2002. He performs surgery at Memorial Hermann Hospital-TMC, Park Plaza Hospital, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.
