The Texas Cleft-Craniofacial Team was established in 1952 as a joint venture between The University of Texas Dental Branch and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. It is a multi-specialty team whose primary goal is the treatment of patients with cleft and craniofacial deformities.

Dr. Teichgraeber is board certified in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology with a special interest in craniofacial reconstruction and cleft lip/palate repair. He joined the University in 1992 and the Department of Pediatric Surgery in 1997.
