Dress Code

APPEARANCE
Hair

  •  Hair should be conservative, clean, and neat.
  •  Hair may not be dyed unnatural colors.
  •  Hair ornaments shall be moderate and in good taste.
  •  Well-groomed, closely trimmed beards, sideburns, and mustaches.

Permissible Jewelry

  •  Body piercing is permitted in ears only; no other visible body piercing is permitted.
  • Mouth jewelry shall not be visible.

Skirts & Dresses

  •  Skirt & Dress length shall be no shorter than three inches above the top of the knee and may not be tight fitting.
  •  Split skirts and dress shorts are permitted, provided they are not tight fitting and fall within the skirt guidelines.

Pants

  •  Pants shall not be tight fitting.
  •  Pants of spandex, leggings, athletic wear, and sweat suits shall not be worn.
  • Denim may be worn on Fridays only and must not be torn or have holes. Denim can be worn by Lab staff Monday-Thursday due to their work environment.

Shoes

  •  Flip flops sandals cannot be worn.
  • Tennis shoes are not permitted unless required due to health reasons or special circumstances for work activity.

Other

  •  Sunglasses are to be worn indoors only if prescribed by a physician or required for the job.
  •  All tattoos shall be appropriately covered so as not to be visible.

Scrubs and sneakers can be worn by clinical staff and lab staff only. 
Business attire is expected Monday through Thursday for administrative staff.  Denim can be worn on “Casual Fridays”.  
Violations will be dealt with individually.
