Charles Cox Jr, MD

Dr. Cox is the Children's Fund Distinguished Professor and Director of the Pediatric Trauma Program at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital with a special interest in the operative and non-operative management of traumatically injured infants and children. He is the Co-director of the Extra-Corporeal Life Support Program (ECMO). He completed his Pediatric Surgery Training at the University of Michigan and is board certified in Surgery, Critical Care and Pediatric Surgery, with a special interest in diseases of the intestines, colon and rectum. He joined the University in 1996.
