Physician Assistant/Instructor, Department of Pediatric Surgery, Division of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery – Post-operative management of congenital heart surgery patients in the PICU from admission to discharge. Surgical 1st and 2nd assist.

The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston (December 2006 – May 2008)) Physician Assistant, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery – Surgical 1st assist, surgical inpatient management, weekly clinic responsibilities including: surgical drain management, wound care, suture removal, dictation of all patient encounters.

Baylor College of Medicine/ Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston(September 2005- December 2006) Physician Assistant, Pediatric Critical Care – Day to day management of patients in the PICU and PCU, including admissions, discharges and medical procedures.

Flight for Life/ Children’s Hospital , Denver, CO. (May 1999 - August 2003)
Flight Therapist – RN/RT team. Trained in all aspects of pediatric/neonatal ground, helicopter, turboprop and Lear jet transport.

Texas Children’s Hospital,  Houston, TX.  (January 1988- April 1999)
Clinical Manager, Respiratory Care- (February 1994- April 1999)
Managed 50 FTE’s on the 7P-7A shift. Duties included: Managing all clinical issues
on the 7P-7A shift, performance evaluations, scheduling, policies/procedure development and updating, interviewing/hiring and staff education.
Staff Respiratory Therapist- (January 1988- February 1994)
All  aspects of inpatient respiratory care with emphasis in PICU and PCU.
