Michael Alexander Lypka, MD, DMD, FRCD(C)

Dr. Michael Alexander Lypka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Lypka received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and also holds a dental degree from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Dentistry. He completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles as well as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. In addition, Dr. Lypka completed a fellowship in Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. His clinical interests are in craniofacial and maxillofacial reconstruction, including cleft lip and palate and orthognathic surgery.
