Felix W. Tsai, MD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Tsai specializes in pediatric and congenital heart surgery. He grew up in California and attended college and medical school in Chicago. After graduating from medical school, he received most of his surgical training on the East Coast. In addition, he spent a year investigating the hemodynamics of single ventricle physiology in various models. His current research pursuits include single ventricle physiology and right ventricular myocardial remodeling after neonatal surgery. Dr. Tsai is active in thoracic surgery organizations, both at the national and international level. He is currently involved in optimizing surgical outcomes and healthcare initiatives in third world countries.
