The first year of the fellowship exposes you to multiple areas of pediatric surgery and can be tailored per your interests. The year consists of one month in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), 4 months rotating at Texas Children’s Hospital, five months at Children’s Memorial Hermann, and two elective months."
